Gravel path


This garden lacks a formal edge. Features extend into the hedge and appear separate. To rectify this a gravel path will be built around the garden to frame it.

Here a previous path can just be seen through the grass which has spread over it and buried it.

With the small dissused dog kennel and fence removed it was decided to make use of the area as it catches the last sun of the day.

The path is held in with edging stones, these will also help keep the grass from growing over the path and is a hard edge that can withstand a garden strimmer.
